DETAILS:
Hopkins VFW Post 425 will host a veteran-led community buckthorn pull in the Birch Island Woods Conservation Area, a 36-acre park in Eden Prairie. Buckthorn is an invasive plant that istaking over the park, killing off native vegetation, and needs to be removed. Volunteers will attend a short buckthorn overview and safety briefing before cutting down and removing mature buckthorn plants. Help us make our park more beautiful!
